Led by BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year finalist, Grant McFarlane, Scotia showcases an exceptional level of musicianship whose roots lie in traditional Scottish music. Since 2002, the band have performed at thousands of events across the UK and internationally. We deliver the best ceilidh experience for your guests through fantastic music and easy-to-learn dances, no matter what experience they have.

What Is A Ceilidh?
A ceilidh is an exciting night of Scottish music and dancing. The perfect way to bring your guests together, they’ll be guided through a number of dances with some really easy-to-learn steps. There is no pressure to get every step perfect either as a ceilidh is a relaxed and fun event – although there may be an occasional prize for the best dancer.
What To Expect
On the night, we will arrive at your venue in good time and discretely setup our equipment. Our dance caller will then lead the night, guiding your guests through all of our dances and making any announcements necessary (i.e introducing bride and groom, last orders at the bar etc). Most of our clients choose a mix of ceilidh and disco to suit different tastes.
